Round spur gearboxes offer a choice of cylindrical housings, reduction ratios and output shaft sizes.

ROUND SPUR GEARBOXES

Round spur gearboxes provide speed reduction in cylindrical housings. The output speed depends on the motor speed and ratio; usable output torque also depends on losses and the gearbox rating.

The range includes SG, SR, TG and RG families. Listed diameters begin at 25 mm for SR25 and reach 50 mm for RG50. Housing length and output shaft diameter vary by family and ratio, so compare the selected variant rather than choosing on diameter alone.

For the application, check:

Ratio and required output speed under load
Continuous torque and expected starting loads
Gearbox diameter, length and output shaft diameter
Motor mounting and shaft compatibility
